Express Entry
Express Entry is an online immigration system which manages skilled workers applications for permanent residence to Canada under federal and certain provincial economic programs. This is the fastest and most popular pathway to permanent residence for immigrants seeking a new life in Canada.
It is not an immigration program in itself, but a method for selecting the best candidates for Canada’s existing skilled worker immigration programs.
Under the Express Entry System, potential candidates are ranked using a points-based system based on their eligibility to meet certain criteria. This is called a Comprehensive Ranking System score (CRS score). Applicants who meet the highest rankings will be added to a pool of immigration-ready skilled workers.
